Devious Journal Entry

Okey dokey! I haven't been on DA in a few days... I know that's a lot!... Phew, so I cleaned out messages rather quickly and now hopefully I can get back to drawing, which I actually have been semi inspired to do on a regular basis :3 *proud*
I haven't been on DA because I've been so tired! I've been getting up early and going to bed early! I have been riding for my trainer(training and riding young horses) a ton! It was going fine up until yesterday, I rode a big fat quarter horse, with the biggest butt you ever saw!, and he got me off twice. So the first time he got my boot stuck in the stirrup so I kicked it out and jumped off landing on my feet. The second time he crow hopped me out of the saddle so I was literally sitting on his neck and had the saddle behind me. He then proceeded to quickly gallop off, throw me into the panel, where I hit my head all the way down the panel, and on my back. I blacked out for a bit cause I don't remember falling but I'm ok I brusied my tail bone and have a concussion but I'll survive
I don't think he would have gotten me off if I rode english like I'm use to and had stirrups. I rode western which I haven't ridden consistently in years (English is more challenging and fun!) I also had no stirrups because they were to long so I was basically gripping with just my thighs. I was also not use to having a horn so I didn't grab it
So today is my catch up day, so I'll catch up on HW then draw tonight hopefully!
